WACO, Texas (AP) - Steffanie Blackmon had 20 points and a career-high 16 rebounds to lead No. 19 Baylor to a 76-61 victory Wednesday night over Oklahoma State.
Jessika Stratton added 14 points and Chelsea Whitaker 13 for the Lady Bears (19-6, 7-5 Big 12).
Trisha Skibbe had 22 points for Oklahoma State (8-16, 3-10), and Nina Stone contributed 17.
Baylor took its first lead at 30-29 on baskets by Blackmon and Sophia Young to start of the second half. Eliz Gomes put Oklahoma State back in front 45-44 with 12 minutes left, but the Lady Bears reeled off 10 straight, capped by Whitaker's 3-point play.
Stratton's four straight free throws and a 3-pointer gave the Lady Bears a 72-55 margin with just under four minutes left and put the game out of reach for the Cowgirls.
Aided by nine Baylor turnovers in the game's first five minutes, Oklahoma State bolted to a 27-13 lead. Despite shooting only 29 percent (9-for-31) in the first half, the Lady Bears stormed back with a 13-2 run and trailed 29-26 at the break.
