AMES, Iowa (AP) - Mary Fox scored a career-high 22 points and made five of Iowa State's 13 3-pointers, leading the Cyclones to an 81-72 victory over No. 18 Baylor on Saturday night.

Iowa State (11-11, 4-7 Big 12) recovered from a six-minute scoring drought midway through the second half and went on a 16-2 run to erase a 10-point Baylor lead.

Fox hit consecutive 3-pointers to give Iowa State a 66-64 lead with 2:47 left and Anne O'Neil's fadeaway jumper made it 68-64. Baylor (18-6, 6-5) had to start fouling after missing on the ensuing possession and Iowa State made 13 of 14 free throws to wrap it up.

The loss was Baylor's first to an unranked team this season.

Iowa State, which has struggled on offense this season, had its highest-scoring game since an 83-52 victory over Texas Southern on Dec. 12. Anne O'Neil added 13 points for the Cyclones, including six straight free throws at the end. Lyndsey Medders scored 12 and Megan Ronhovde and Katie Robinette each had 11.

Steffanie Blackmon led Baylor with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Jessika Stratton scored 16, all in the second half.

The Iowa State victory topped off a day of upsets at Hilton Coliseum. The ISU men beat No. 11 Texas 78-77 earlier in the day.

Trailing by 10 late in the first half, Baylor scored the final eight points of the half to draw to 36-34. Then, with the score tied at 45, Baylor went on a 13-0 run that included two 3-pointers by Stratton to go up 58-45 with 9:02 left.

The Lady Bears led 62-52 after Blackmon's baseline jumper with 7:01 remaining. But they made only one basket over the next six minutes, and Iowa State roared back.
