HEAD COACH Scott Drew
On the team's performance:
"It's always nice to go into a break with a win because it makes the holidays a little more enjoyable. There are a lot of things we can work on but the most important thing is that we came out with a win."
On early lead:
"We were very pleased with the composure the guys had when we were down 7-2 to put together a nice run. We knew it was critical to extend that lead early and we never let that lead get to a point where they thought they had a chance."
Tim Bush, BAYLOR FORWARD On fatigue: "When I first came out my legs were a little tired, but as far as my condition I think I am in better shaped than some guys around the nation."
On coming out of the game:
"When coach took me out the first time I knew I had to get my mind right, but when I came back in the first time I knew I had to be more focused."
Aaron Bruce, BAYLOR GUARD
On players out:
"I think that is just due to spending more time in the gym. I can only credit my teammates because they give me the ball. As coach said we had 21 assists and I was fortunate a lot of those came to me. "
On slow start: "I think it was a mental lapse, not being ready to play and not expecting pressure maybe. To our credit we have been able to handle that the past few games."
