WACO, Texas (AP) - Steffanie Blackmon had 25 points and nine rebounds, and Chameka Scott added 20 points to lead No. 6 Baylor to a 91-70 win over Penn State on Saturday night.
The Lady Bears (7-1) dominated throughout, leading 52-31 by halftime on 17 points from Blackmon and 13 from Scott.
Tanisha Wright paced Penn State (4-4) with 23 points, making 13 of 14 free throws.
The Lady Bears opened the second half with a 15-2 run, and led by as much as 37 points when the backups came in for the final nine minutes.
Baylor dominated inside, scoring 44 points in the paint to the Lady Lions' 22. Baylor outrebounded Penn State 44-37, led by Blackmon and Sophia Young, who had eight boards.
Baylor also dominated from outside, hitting 58 percent of its 3-pointers. Scott made four of five from beyond the arc, and finished 8-of-11 overall.
The Lady Lions got 11 points from Jess Strom and Jennifer Harris, and 10 from Amber Bland. But they struggled from the field, hitting just 39 percent. White and Strom combined to go 8-of-27.
