HOUSTON, Texas - Ginny Rosario-Tull had a pair of goals in the last 22 minutes of the game to boost Baylor to a 2-0 victory against the University of Houston Cougars Friday night at Robertson Stadium.
The game went 68 scoreless minutes until Rosario-Tull knocked in a shot past Cougar's goalkeeper Sarah Webster. Eight minutes later, Rosario-Tull punched in her second goal of the night with an assist from April Robertson. Rosario-Tull finished the night with eight shots.
Baylor goalkeeper Monica Housden stopped six shots by the Cougars recording her second shutout of the season. Housden's record now improves to 3-0 on the year. First-season Baylor head coach George Van Linder continues his perfect record now improving to 3-0.
University of Houston's Nikki Hawkins lead the Cougar's attack recording four shots on the night. Nicole Aubuchan and Kelly Golden each contributed for the Cougars with two shots a piece.
The Bears return back home on Sunday to face Utah at 7 p.m. at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field in Waco.
