WACO, Texas - The Baylor Athletic Department will host its annual "Meet the Bears" Day on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. at Floyd Casey Stadium.

Fans are invited to come and meet members of the team and the new coaching staff, led by head coach Guy Morriss. Players and coaches will sign autographs in the Bears' locker room. Fans will also be able to tour the weight room and locker room facilities and see behind the scenes where the team is working to prepare for the upcoming season.

Admission is free. The event will run from 1 p.m. to approximately 2:30 p.m.

Baylor kicks off the 2003 football season at home Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. against UAB. Season tickets as well as individual game tickets are on sale now through the Baylor Ticket Office at Floyd Casey Stadium or by phone at 254-710-1000, and online at BaylorBears.com.
