WACO, Texas - The Bears will be in Waco this weekend to take on the #43 Missouri Tigers on Saturday at 10a.m., at the Baylor Tennis Center.
On Friday Baylor was defeated by Arizona 6-1. The Bears only point came in the No. 6 spot when Barbora Blahutiakova defeated Kristy Randono 7-5, 6-3. Saturday the Bear's returned to action when they were defeated by Florida State 4-3.
In doubles play, the duo of Vida Mulec and Anna Moncolova earned the only doubles win this weekend when they defeated Mlakar/Larocque of Arizona 8-6.
In singles action, Izabela Mijic was defeated 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 by Kelly Perry of Arizona which snapped her six-game winning streak. Mijic rebounded on Saturday to dominate Amberly Tantee of Florida State 6-2, 6-1. Daria Potapova was defeated by Debbie Larocque of Arizona 7-5, 7-6, which snapped her four-game winning streak. Potapova returned Saturday to beat Brooke Cordell of Florida State 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.
The Tigers enter this weekends match with the best record in the Big 12 and are currently riding a five-game winning streak which included Big 12 wins over Colorado and Nebraska. Missouri's only loss came to Purdue 4-3 on Feb. 9.
The Bears' take on the Tigers Sat. Mar. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Baylor Tennis Center. Results will be posted on baylorbears.com. Live internet updates will be posted for Sunday's match.

- The Bears' 2003 spring schedule pits them against 19 ranked teams, three of which are currently in the top 20.
