WACO, Texas - Local Fazoli's Restaurants are offering tickets for $2 to the Lady Bears' first game of the season against Mississippi State. The game tips off Friday at 7 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.

Waco area supporters can buy basketball tickets this week. No food purchase is necessary.

Brad Mayer, director of sales for Baylor Athletics, is excited about the partnership between Fazoli's and women's basketball.

"Fazoli's is a great supporter of all Baylor sports," he said, "and we really appreciate this generous offer."

Head coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson leads the team in their home opener, and she is looking forward to the beginning of the season.

"We're delighted with this Fazoli's promotion. They are providing our fans with a great opportunity to see a team from one of the most prestigious conferences in the country (SEC)," said Mulkey-Robertson.

This is the third meeting between the Lady Bulldogs and the Lady Bears.
