WACO, Texas - Marcus Foreman and CJ Wilson, members of the Baylor football team, visited Rapoport Academy Friday.
The visit was part of Baylor Athletics' community relations program, Bears 'n' Books. The athletes read stories to Rapoport's second grade classes. After reading, the players took the kids outside and played a game of catch, which quickly turned into a small football game.
Marcus and CJ were having such a good time, they insisted on staying for another hour.
"We didn?t want to leave," Marcus said. "We felt like we needed to stay there and play with those kids."
Before leaving, the players signed autographs and reminded the children to stay in school.
"I had fun," CJ said. "Those kids were amazing."
