COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Sophomore Jordan Willmann paced the Baylor track team at the two-day College Station Multis finishing third in the women's bronze heptathlon Friday.
Willmann finished with a 4,886 point total and had strong showings in several events, finishing second in both the high jump (5-6) and the 800 meter run (2:21.02) and fourth in the 100-meter hurdles (14.84).
Also competing in the two-day event were freshman Lydia Morris and junior Annie Housholder, who finished 17th (3,878) and 24th (3,102), respectively. Morris' best individual event finish came in a ninth-place showing in the spot put (33-11 ?), while Housholder ran to a fifth place finish in the 200 meters (25.90).
Baylor track and field will resume action next Saturday when it hosts its first of two home events, the Dr Pepper Invitational, March 23.
