WACO, Texas - Remaining Baylor men's tennis team members were eliminated from the Region VI Omni Hotels South Central Championships at the Bayard Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth. Jason Gould and Zoltan Papp were defeated in singles play, while the duo of Benjamin Becker and Zoltan Papp fell in doubles play from the tournament.

In the Semifinals, Papp fell to Rice's Richard Barker in three hard fought sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. In consolation singles, Gould was eliminated from the tournament by Rice's Take Moeta by a score of 6-2, 6-3.

The sixth seeded Baylor's double team of Becker and Papp fell to third seeded doubles team Richard Barker and William Barker of Rice, 9-8.

The Bears will return to action this week at the Tyler Challenger being held in Tyler, Texas.
