Waco, Texas - Baylor's men's tennis team will host an impressive field when 12 teams join the Bears in the Baylor Intercollegiates which will be held from Sept. 27-30 at the new Baylor Tennis Center.

Joining the Bears will be teams from Lamar, Mississippi, Northern Arizona, South Alabama, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Texas Tech, UT-Arlington, UT-San Antonio and Wichita State.

"We had such tremendous response to the tournament that we expanded it from what we had originally planned on," said Baylor head coach Matt Knoll. "The tournament will feature 11 players from the ITA's Preseason Top 100 poll, so that shows you the caliber of competition we'll have here," Knoll added.

Singles and doubles brackets, both with two divisions each, will be contested. Doubles and singles championships will be played on Sunday, Sept. 30 beginning a 1:00 p.m.

The event is open to the public, no admission will be charged.
