Waco, Texas - Baylor's Danielle Crockrom led the Big 12 All-Stars to an undefeated record in their recent tour of Austria, Slovak Republic and Germany. With a 5-0 record the squad was the first Big 12 All-Star women's team to go undefeated in an overseas tour.
For the five-game, 12-day tour, Crockrom, a 6-2 forward/post from Houston, Texas, led all scorers and rebounders by averaging 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds a game. She was the only player to average a double-double. Iowa State's Angie Welle and Oklahoma's LaNeishea Caufield were the only other players to average in double figures in scoring with 11.6 and 10.2 respectively. Texas' Tracy Cook was the team's next-best rebounder with 8.4 a game while Welle checked in at 7.0.
"One thing that I can say I am happy about is that we went undefeated. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when we first started off. Once everyone started to get to know each other and we began to get used to playing together, it was a blast." said Crockrom.
