Latest ITA Singles/Doubles Rankings Include Five Bears

WACO, Texas - Junior Katja Kovac jumped one spot ahead of teammate Jahnavi Parekh in the latest women's tennis singles rankings, released Friday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
Kovac moved up seven spots to No. 28, stepping one place in front of Parekh, who held at No. 29. Kovac won nine straight matches before losing against Northwestern on Sunday.
Baylor's No. 3 singles player, Vida Mulec, fell to No. 80 in the nation, down 13 spots despite having won four of her last six matches.
In men's doubles, Neurohr and Williams remained among the top 25, slipping two spots to No. 18. The pair has ranked among the top 25 for every week but one this year, the team has ranked as high as No. 4 this spring.

The Baylor men host 16th-ranked Notre Dame Friday at 2 p.m., while the women are on the road Saturday against Colorado.
