Waco - The Baylor Lady Bears continue to climb their way up both major polls. In rankings that came out on Monday, they are now ranked No. 8 in the Associated Press (AP) Poll and No. 10 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll.
Baylor, currently 10-0 on the season, started off the season ranked No. 14 in AP and was No. 9 last week. In the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll the Lady Bears started the year at No. 16 and have moved up to No. 10 this week.
These are the highest rankings ever for the Lady Bear basketball program.
Baylor has won 23 straight regular season non-conference games and 11 consecutive regular season non-conference games at home.
