#12/14 Baylor Lady Bears (6-0) vs. Boston University Terriers (5-1)
Sun., Dec. 2, 2:00 p.m.
Ferrell Center (12,285) - Waco, Texas

Sunday's game pits the Baylor Lady Bears against the Boston University Terriers of the America East Conference. The Baylor Lady Bears are 6-0 and have won 19 consecutive regular season, non-conference games, including 10 straight in the Ferrell Center, and the Terriers are 5-1 so far this season.

COMING UP...
On Sunday, Dec. 2, former Lady Bear Suzie Snider Eppers will be honored in pregame ceremonies. Snider Eppers, a native of Robinson, is the only Lady Bear to have her jersey (#23) retired. She is one of four women in Baylor's Hall of Fame, the program's only Kodak All-American (1977) and owns Baylor records for career points (3,861) and rebounds (2,176).

FOUR GAMES IN EIGHT DAYS...
The game with Boston University will be the Lady Bears' third of four games in an eight-day span. They hosted Denver (Sun., Nov. 25) and Sam Houston State (Tues., Nov. 27), at Oral Roberts (Fri., Nov. 30) and host Boston University (Sun., Dec. 2).

THE LADY BEARS...
Baylor moved up another spot in the AP Poll, checking in at No. 12 this week after starting the season ranked No. 14. They also jumped two spots to No. 14 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll.

Six games into the season the Lady Bears are led by seniors Danielle Crockrom (Houston/North Shore HS), Sheila Lambert (Seattle, Wash./Chief Sealth HS), freshman Steffanie Blackmon (Dallas/Rowlett HS) and sophomore Jessika Stratton (Colorado Springs, Colo./Coronado HS). Lambert and Crockrom are scoring in double figures, while Stratton and Blackmon are just under the double-digit mark. Lambert and Crockrom are each averaging 17.8 points a game, while Blackmon and Stratton each manage 9.2 a contest. Crockrom hasn't lost a beat from last season when she averaged a double-double for the season. She has hauled down an average of 12.0 rebounds a game in six games. Sophomore Chanelle Fox (Houston/Westfield HS) follows with 6.0 and Blackmon checks in at 5.3.

THE OPPOSITION...
Boston University
The Boston University Terriers come into the game with a record of 5-1. They are led on the season by 5-11 sophomore forward Katie Terhune's 19.0 points a game. Two other starters also average in double figures. Sophomore forward Marisa Moseley, 6-2, scores 10.8 a game while senior forward Dia Dufault, 6-0, averages 10.2. Dufault is the team's top rebounder at 7.0 a game, while another starter, Ashley Carr, a 6-2 sophomore, pulls down 6.5 a game.

THE COACHES...
Baylor's Kim Mulkey-Robertson is in her second year as a head coach after guiding the Lady Bears to a 21-9 record and the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament in her inaugural season. The Lady Bears enjoyed tremendous improvement last season over Baylor's 7-20 record of 1999-2000. Her career record is 27-9.

Boston University's Margaret McKeon is in her third season. She is 23-41 in her three seasons at the Terriers' helm. Prior to coming to BU in 1999 she was associate head coach (1998-88) and assistant coach (1995-98) at George Washington and also served as an assistant coach at Houston (1993-95) and Arizona State (1992-93).

SERIES RECORD...
This will be the first meeting between the two teams. Baylor participated in the Terriers' Invitational last season, but faced Miami (Ohio) and Yale.

COMMON OPPONENT...
Both teams have played Sam Houston State this season. The Lady Bear defeated them 87-42 on Tuesday night, while Boston University beat them 59-49 on Friday night.
