WACO, Texas - What was originally a four-team tournament has been reduced to three teams when one team dropped out of Hawaii's Tesoro Invitational. Therefore, some adjusting to playing dates was done. Instead of playing on Dec. 8 & 9, the Lady Bears will now play on Dec. 7 & 8. The revised schedule is:

Dec. 7 - Baylor vs. Hawaii - 11:00 p.m. CT
Dec. 8 - Baylor vs. Illinois-Chicago - 9:00/11:00 p.m. CT
Dec. 9 - Hawaii vs. Illinois-Chicago - 11:00 p.m. CT

Under head coach Vince Goo, Hawaii was 26-8 last season and played in the WNIT, making it to the semifinals. Three starters return from last year's Wahine squad including Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year April Atuaia and all-WAC Newcomer Janka Gabrielova.

Illinois-Chicago finished the 2000-01 season with a 10-19 record under head coach Tim Eatman. The Flames return two starters off that squad.
