Waco, Texas - Baylor's women's tennis team, participating in the Midlwest Blast hosted by the University of Illinois, won three singles matches against the University of Illinois and Ohio State and won one of four doubles matches against Ohio State on Saturday.
Senior Frida Borjesson and freshmen Daria Potapova and Whitney Morton all won their singles matches in straight sets. The Bears' lone doubles team to post a victory over the Buckeyes was Whitney Morton and Alison Bradley.
On Sunday, the final day of competition, the Bears will play Georgia Tech in both singles and doubles.
