WACO, Texas - Double overtime was not enough for either team to break the deadlock as Baylor and Arkansas concluded their game at the Baylor Tournament Friday night in a 1-1 tie.

Baylor (1-1-1) scored first, as senior forward Molly Cameron scored on an assist from freshman Candace Reilly in the 26th minute. The goal was Cameron's third of the season, and those three goals account for all of Baylor's scoring to date this year.

Arkansas (0-1-1) pushed across its goal in the 60th minute, as freshman Crystal Test notched her first collegiate goal, assisted by Erin Sampson and Mandy Komar.

Baylor had its chances to score late in regulation, and again in the second overtime. Junior midfielder Danielle Gurney missed three shots of varying difficulty: one with 4:30 to go in the second half, one with 2:15 remaining in the second OT period, and one with just five seconds to go in the second overtime.

Baylor's last double-overtime game was against Iowa State in last year's season opener. The Bears won that game, 2-1.

North Texas upset ninth-ranked SMU in the first game of the Baylor Tournament, 2-1, as the two teams also fought through two overtime periods.

The Baylor Tournament continues Sunday, as Arkansas and SMU square off at 5 p.m. and Baylor meets North Texas at 7:30 p.m.
