Samantha Compton serves Baylor Athletics as an Athletic Trainer, working primarily with the Volleyball program.

Compton joined BU in May 2025 in this role after previously working at Liberty University since 2021.

There, she was an Athletic Training Intern with campus recreation and intramural program from 2021-22 before becoming an Assistant Athletic Trainer with Women's Swimming and Diving program for 2022-23. Beginning in 2023, she was an Assistant Athletic Trainer with Women's Volleyball and cheerleading programs.

Prior to her work at Liberty, Compton was a student athletic trainer at Wilkes University.

The Union Bridge, Md., native graduated from Marywood University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, playing for the volleyball team and was team captain from 2018-21. She then earned a Master of Science in Exercise Science: Nutrition and Wellness from Liberty University in 2023.
