Kristin Fant joined Baylor Athletics as an Associate Director of Performance Nutrition in August 2021, and was promoted to Assistant AD for Performance Nutrition in March of 2023. In addition to leading the Performance Nutrition unit, she currently serves as the team dietitian for Acrobatics & Tumbling, Men’s and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country, Men’s Tennis, and Women’s Tennis.
Fant earned her bachelor’s degree in International and Area Studies in 2010 from the University of Oklahoma, and has worked as a dietitian since 2018 when she completed her Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Texas at Southwestern.
Prior to coming to Waco, Fant worked with individual athletes at the youth, collegiate and adult recreational level, as well as treating residential and outpatient eating disorder patients in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In addition, she brings three years of experience as a clinical dietitian at the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical Center (Clements University Hospital) from 2018-2021. She worked as the Manager of Operations for Athletics Development at Southern Methodist University in Dallas from 2013-2018.
The Dallas, Texas native is married to Jonathan Fant.
