Chris Lynn serves Baylor Athletics as Assistant AD for Development, and was elevated to overseeing the day to day operations of the Bear Foundation and serving as Executive Director of the Bear Foundation in March 2025.
Lynn joined BU in May of 2023 as the Assistant AD for Development within the Baylor Bear Foundation.
In his role, Lynn oversees all Excellence Funds for BU's 15 teams, oversees the courtesy car program, and manages a portfolio of donors and prospects, focusing on new member growth for the Baylor Bear Foundation.
Prior to Baylor, Lynn was an Associate AD at Western Kentucky University from 2020-2023, overseeing the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation operations, club tickets for football and suites for men's basketball. He also supervised athletic development staff and oversaw the major gifts program.
From 2018 to 2020, Lynn was the Associate AD for Development at Louisiana Tech University. He was in the same role at the University of the Pacific from 2016 to 2018, being an Assistant AD prior to that from 2011 to 2016.
He started his career at UTEP as an Assistant Director for Development from 2008-2011, securing annual and major gifts, sold club tickets and oversaw the annual team fund drive for the Miners.
Lynn graduated from the University of Louisville with his bachelor's in sport administration in 2005. He then earned his masters in sport management from the University of Illinois in 2011.
The Pikeville, Kentucky, native is married to Kimberly and the couple have two children - Sadie and Chance.
