Brady Mangus serves as Associate Athletics Director for Governance & Regulatory Affairs, where he assists in the day-to-day operations of the Governance & Regulatory Affairs office and serves as the primary compliance contact for Baylor Football.
Mangus joined Baylor Athletics in January 2026 after spending more than a decade in collegiate athletics compliance. Prior to joining the Bears, he served as Associate Athletics Director for Governance & Compliance at Liberty University from 2023–25. In that role, he was a member of the athletics department's executive team and oversaw the daily operations of the compliance office while serving as the primary compliance contact for the football and men's basketball programs.
Before being elevated to Associate Athletics Director, Mangus served as Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance at Liberty from 2021–23. Prior to Liberty, he spent seven years in the compliance office at Marshall University, serving in a variety of roles from 2014–21. His tenure culminated with a promotion to Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance and a position on Marshall Athletics' executive team in 2018.
Throughout his career, Mangus has specialized in NCAA rules education, governance, eligibility, recruiting and compliance operations. He has been a member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) since 2015 and was selected to the organization's Athletics Compliance Elite (A.C.E.) class in 2019.
Mangus earned a Bachelor of Sports Management & Marketing from Marshall University in 2015 before completing a Master of Sports Administration from Marshall in 2017.
A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Mangus and his wife, Allison, have two children, Gray and Parker.
