Becky Sauceda

Becky Sauceda joined Baylor Athletics in June of 2023 as the Director of Football Performance Nutrition and is the lead dietician for the Baylor Football program.

In this role, Sauceda coordinates all nutritional aspects for the football team, including individualized nutritional counseling and assessments, practice/game-day fueling, and team educations.

Sauceda came to Baylor after serving the University of Kentucky as the Cats head football and gymnastics dietician from 2021 to 2023.

Previously, Sauceda was at Duke University in the Gatorade Sports Nutrition Immersion Program (SNIP), from 2020 to 2021 as a fellow. There served as the assistant football dietitian and head dietitian for the volleyball, women's rowing, women's lacrosse, and men's and women's fencing programs.

She completed an Aramark Dietetic Internship at Baylor Scott & White's All Saints Medical Center in April of 2020.

At the University of Texas, she served the nutrition staff as a Performance Nutrition Intern from 2015 - 2018, where she assisted the nutrition staff throughout four fall football training camps.

The San Antonio, Texas, native graduated with two bachelor's degrees from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015 including Nutrition: Dietetics and Corporate Communication. She then earned her master's degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2019 in Nutrition.
