Aaron Sternecker

Aaron Sternecker joined the Baylor women’s basketball program in June of 2021 as the director of video operations. In July 2023, Sternecker was promoted to assistant coach.

Among the shared scouting and player development tasks, he handles the offensive analytics for the Baylor squad and assists in the recruiting efforts.
 
Sternecker arrived at Baylor after serving three years as the Video Coordinator at Clemson. There he was the director of scouting, he evaluated potential transfers, provided analytics and created content for recruiting.
 
Prior to his stint with the Tigers, he spent two seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations at Tennessee Tech from 2016-2018. He managed the program budget, coordinated team travel, supervised the managers, assisted with on-campus recruiting and broke down film of practices and games.
 
His career started at the University of Florida where he served as a Video Assistant from 2014-2016. Sternecker graduated from the University of Missouri in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management before receiving a master’s degree in sport management at Florida in 2016.

Sternecker married his wife Rebecca in 2023 and the two have a son named Liam.
