Now in his sixth year at Baylor, Larry Little serves as associate director of athletic media relations and publications coordinator. He is the primary media relations contact for baseball and the secondary contact for football. Little also oversees production of publications and graphic design for the athletic department.
During Little's time on staff, Baylor has received several high marks from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). In 2005, his baseball media guide ranked seventh nationally and sixth in District VI, while his baseball game program was selected "Best in the Nation." Last fall, he oversaw the publicity campaign for Baylor's Daniel Sepulveda, who became the first sophomore to earn the Ray Guy Award as the nation's best punter.
A 1998 Louisiana Tech journalism graduate, Little also has worked at Mississippi State, the University of Virginia and his alma mater. Little has worked numerous NCAA postseason events, including serving as official statistician for the 2002 and 2003 Volleyball Championships. He also has served as official scorer for several baseball and softball conference and NCAA postseason tournaments. In the summer of 2005, Little served as press officer for the USA Baseball National Team.
A veteran broadcaster, Little handles radio play-by-play duties for Baylor's volleyball team and is an alternate for Baylor baseball and softball broadcasts. Previously he handled radio duties for baseball at Virginia and Louisiana Tech. For his dedication to the baseball program at his alma mater, Little was awarded an honorary letter in 1998.
Little, who calls Ruston, La., home, is a member of CoSIDA, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association and the Football Writers' Association of America.
