Dear "B" Association members,
In an effort to draw our community together in spirit and pride, a group of interested citizens and community leaders have organized a "Gold Rush" campaign for the 2001-2002 season. Representatives from Baylor, the Waco Chamber of Commerce, the City of Waco and community volunteers have organized to color the town gold this fall and throughout the year.
This effort is in partnership with Baylor's "Gold Rush" campaign and hopes to encourage everyone to wear gold to all Baylor athletic events. The community program extends this "Gold Rush" fever to the Central Texas community with the goal of including restaurants, hotels and businesses. We have obtained a special discounted rate on t-shirts and flags in order to make them affordable to all who wish to participate. Local businesses are being asked to fly gold spirit flags and assist employees in wearing "Gold Rush" shirts beginning with Baylor's first home football game on Sept. 8.
"Gold Rush" shirts and flags will be available for your purchase at the "B" Association two hours before home games. You may also order online through GoBaylorBears.com or by e-mailing bugoldrush@aol.com. If you are unable to make your order in person, please order online now!

Flags cost $20, are 3' x 5', and are gold with a green interlocking BU.
Collared shirts cost $15. They are available in sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL. (XXL shirts cost $16, XXXL shirts cost $17) The shirts are gold with the Gold Rush logo embroidered on the left front.
