Baylor to Kickoff vs. Auburn on ABC at 2:30 p.m. CT

WACO, Texas -- Baylor football will open its 2026 season on Sept. 5 in Atlanta at the Aflac Kickoff Game, which will be televised live on ABC with a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, it was announced by ESPN on Tuesday.
The Bears and Tigers will meet in the final of a two-game series that opened in 2025 with the season lid-lifter at McLane Stadium, a 38-24 win for Auburn.
Auburn leads the series is 2-2-1, with AU winning the only neutral-site meeting in the 1954 Gator Bowl.
Baylor will then host a three-game homestand at McLane Stadium, including non-conference matchups with Prairie View A&M, the defending SWAC Champion, and Louisiana Tech. BU will host Colorado in the conference opener on Sept. 26.
