
Josh Cameron Goes to Jaguars in NFL Draft

WACO, Texas -- Baylor wide receiver great Josh Cameron has been picked by in the sixth round, with the 191st overall pick, by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2026 NFL Draft, it was announced on Saturday.
After Jackie Marshall went earlier in the 2026 NFL Draft to the Tennessee Titans, Cameron is the 42nd Baylor great to be picked in the NFL Draft since 2010. The Bears have had 36 players drafted since 2012 and 30. since 2013. He is the 251st all-time Baylor player to be picked in the NFL Draft.
Cameron, a native of Cedar Park, Texas, completed a decorated career for the Bears in 2025. He finished his 53-game career with 170 catches for 2,236 yards and 19 TDs. As a senior in 2025, Cameron had a career year, catching 69 balls for 872 yards and nine TDs. He ranked third in the Big 12 Conference in receptions. He finished his Baylor career ranked as some of the tops in program history, checking in 11th in career receiving yards, eighth in career receptions and eighth in career TDs. His nine touchdowns in 2025 ranked tied for 12th in single-season history and his 69 catches ranked ninth best. Cameron had 52 catches for 754 yards and 10 TDs as a junior.
Cameron ended his collegiate career on a 29-game consecutive reception streak and caught a touchdown in each of his last five games. He teamed up with Baylor QB Sawyer Robertson 18 times in the last two seasons to become Baylor's fourth-most productive QB/WR duo all-time in terms of touchdowns scored.
