BU earns its highest All-Big 12 total under head coach Michelle Lenard
WACO, Texas – No. 23 Baylor soccer's Tyler Isgrig, Azul Alvarez, Hallie Augustyn, Callie Conrad and Olivia Hess have earned All-Big 12 honors, as announced Tuesday afternoon by the conference office. This marks the program's highest total since 2018, when the Bears collected seven postseason accolades, including Big 12 Coach of the Year.
BU is represented by two First Team selections in Isgrig and Alvarez, along with two Second Team honorees in Augustyn and Conrad, and one All-Freshman Team selection in Hess. In addition, Isgrig earned Big 12 Midfielder of the Year honors.
Isgrig's recognition makes her the first player in Baylor soccer history to be named Big 12 Midfielder of the Year and the program's first multi-All-Big 12 award winner since 2015, when Lauren Piercy earned Big 12 Freshman of the Year and Second Team honors. Her accolades cap off a standout regular season that featured nine goals and three multi-goal performances. Isgrig was also the lone Bear named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team and earned Second Team honors in 2024.
Alvarez joins Isgrig on the All-Big 12 First Team after an impressive regular season in goal, recording 67 saves and matching her career high with 10 stops against TCU. She also posted 10 shutouts on the year, tying for the third-most in program history. Alvarez was twice named Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week during the season, earning the honor on Aug. 27 and Oct. 1.
Conrad and Augustyn rounded out Baylor's upperclassman representation on the All-Big 12 Second Team. Augustyn, a steady presence on the backline, scored once against Montana but made her biggest impact defensively, anchoring a Bears unit that allowed just four goals at home in 2025. She was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week after contributing to BU's two shutout victories in the Sunflower State against Kansas and Kansas State. Conrad proved to be a consistent offensive threat, starting every match and finishing with four goals on the year, including a multi-goal performance that helped boost the Bears over Iowa State.
Rounding out Baylor's honorees, freshman midfielder Hess earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team after an impressive debut campaign. The lone freshman to start consistently for the Bears this season, Hess recorded two goals and made a steady impact on both ends of the field. She was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week following her game-winning goal against No. 17 Mississippi State and becomes the first Bear to earn All-Freshman honors since Conrad in 2023.
The Bears' five All-Big 12 selections highlight a standout 2025 campaign that saw Baylor finish fifth in the conference and return to the Big 12 Tournament field under head coach Michelle Lenard.
