
Three Bears Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Recognition

Baylor men’s tennis has at least three honorees for the fifth consecutive seasons.
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Baylor men's tennis had three players in Jimmy Bendeck, Sven Lah and Will Little earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, announced by the organization Thursday afternoon.
Bendeck is now the program's first four-time honoree while Little and Lah earn their second honor. The Bears have had at least three honorees for five straight seasons.
Bendeck and Little wrapped up their collegiate careers in May, finishing as ITA Doubles All-Americans in 2017 and 2019. Lah wrapped up his sophomore season where he was an ITA Doubles All-American with Bendeck.
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letterwinner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) for the current academic year, and have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters.
