VB Stays at No. 25 in Latest AVCA Coaches Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Closing out the regular season with a 19-8 record, Baylor volleyball was tabbed No. 25 in the AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll, released Monday afternoon.

Baylor posted a four-set victory against West Virginia to close out conference action last Wednesday night in Waco. The Bears clinched second place for the second-straight season.

The Bears (19-8, 11-5 Big 12) are ranked for the 37^th time in program history and have received votes in the poll for 27 straight weeks.

Baylor is the second-highest ranked Big 12 team behind No. 5 Texas.

Appearing in its third consecutive NCAA Tournament, Baylor (19-8) faces Hawai'i (18-8) in the first round Thursday at 6:30 p.m. CT inside Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore.
