Nov. 20, 2017 WACO, Texas - For the third-straight week, No. 19 Baylor volleyball collected its highest RPI ranking in program history, earning the No. 14 spot in the standings released by the NCAA Monday morning.
Previously at No. 17, the Bears (23-5, 13-2 Big 12) jumped three spots after a perfect 2-0 week in Big 12 play.
The No. 14 ranking surpasses the previous program high of No. 17, which the Bears achieved last Monday. BU started at No. 32 on Oct. 2 and have maintained a top-30 RPI since then.
BU has chalked up 13 wins over RPI top-100 teams, including two wins over Iowa State (15), TCU (76), West Virginia (84) and Texas Tech (91) and victories over Kansas (12), BYU (18), Washington State (37), LSU (38) and Texas State (70).
BU's five losses on the year have all come from top-50 RPI teams, dropping matches against Texas (3), Kansas (12), Hawai'i (39), Florida State (40) and College of Charleston (50).
Baylor hosts No. 2 Texas in the regular season finale Saturday, Nov. 25th at 2 p.m. CT in Waco.
