MADISON, Wis. -- Baylor women's cross country posted a top-25 finish at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational Presented by Under Armour Friday afternoon on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course in Madison, Wis.

BU finished 23rd behind two top-50 finishes and defeated three teams who were also receiving votes in the latest TSFCCCA Coaches' Poll: Vanderbilt, Florida State and Notre Dame.

The Bears were led by junior Lindsey Bradley who finished 13th with a time of 20:04.4. Bradley shaved off nearly 30 seconds from a season ago on the same course (20:30.9). Sophomore Anna West finished 45th with a time of 20:36.2, which is also an improvement from her 2016 meet time of 20:45.2.

The final three scoring runners included sophomore Gabby Satterlee (21:32.0 -- 129th), freshman Brooke Gilmore (21:37.3 -- 140th) and freshman Madelaine Johnston (23:15.6 -- 219th).

Sophomores Alison Andrews-Paul (23:47.9 -- 223rd) and Lindsay Walton (24:15.6 -- 224th) also competed in the 33-team meet.
