THE RUNDOWN
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Baylor volleyball (4-3) rebounded from a two-match skid, sweeping the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners (1-4), 25-13, 29-27, 26-24.

In the first set, the Bears dominated from start to finish, closing the set on a 16-6 run to take the first set, 25-13.

In set two, the Bears jumped out to a 23-17 lead, but the Roadrunners pushed back. BU maintained the lead, but had to fight through six set points, finally clinching the second set, 29-27.

In the third, the Bears jumped out to a 10-6 lead, but couldn't slow a CSUB 7-1 run, ending up down at 13-11.

After a Baylor timeout, the Bears ran off a 6-1 run, retaking a 17-14 lead. The Roadrunners wouldn't fall away, rattling off a 5-1 run to take a late 24-22 run, setting up a potential set point.

A kill from Katie Staiger saved the first set point and the Bears followed by forcing an attack error to tie the match at 24-24.

Jaelyn Jackson dropped a kill to give Baylor the kill and match point, following up the next point with a block assist with Camryn Freiberg to close the match and sweep for the Bears.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Katie Staiger picked up her third double-double of the season, dropping in 14 kills and 11 digs.
- Jaelyn Jackson led both teams with a match-high seven blocks.
- The Bears limited the Roadrunners to a .058 hitting percentage on the match.
