TULSA, Okla. ÃÆ' ¢Ãƒ ¢' ¬" Baylor men's tennis sophomore Jimmy Bendeck went 2-0 in the prequalifying singles draw on the opening day of the 2016 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center Saturday.

To begin the day, Bendeck, seeded 17th in the 256-man draw, bestedMississippi's Grey Hamilton, 6-3, 6-1. In the round of 128, Bendeck downed Texas A&M's Frankie Colunga,6-4, 6-2. Bendeck is now 4-0 on the year.

WHAT'S NEXT
On Sunday, Bendeck will play in the round of 64 of the pre-qualifying draw against Duke's TJ Pura. If he wins that match, he will play later Sunday with an opportunity to earn one of 16 spots into the qualifying singles draw.
