WACO, Texas â '¬" Baylor's cross country teams will continue their 2015 season by heading to the Gerald Richey Invitational hosted by UT Arlington at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie, Texas, Saturday.

The women's 5,000-meter race will start at 8 a.m. with the men running the same distance immediately afterwards.

Baylor will face off against Division I runners from SMU and UT Arlington. Other colleges scheduled to compete are Dallas Baptist, Texas Wesleyan and Paul Quinn.

The men's team, coming off a third-place finish at the Ken Garland Invitational last weekend in Denton, will be without the majority of its top runners Saturday in the Metroplex. The Bears are slated to be without the top runner in the season's first two meets, Eric Anderson, as well as four others who have recorded scoring performances in 2015 - Matt Galvin, JR Hardy, Matthew League and Jordan West.

For the BU women, many of the student-athletes, who recorded a sixth-place finish at the Ken Garland meet last week will be in action for the Bears again. Scoring last week for Baylor were Aubree Miller, Rachel Covey, Leila Rohde, Catherine Zabilski and Lexi Reamer.

Baylor last competed at the meet in 2014 with both teams finishing second.

Following the meet at UT Arlington, the men and the women will be in different locations next weekend as the men travel to the Stanford Invitational and the women compete at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis. Minn.
