Sept. 19, 2014 Final Stats
THE RUNDOWN
SAN ANTONIO - Baylor soccer recovered from a tough pair of matches last weekend to earn a 4-0 win over UTSA on Friday night at Park West Field to end a three-game road trip. The Bears (6-3-0) scored on the Roadrunners (4-3-1) in the seventh minute and three times in the final 10 minutes to secure the decision.
The Bears' early goal came from junior forward Bri Campos. The goal was set up by a UTSA foul that gave Katie Daigle a free kick. Daigle's kick shaped up perfectly for Campos to get into the box and head the ball over the goalie's head.
Baylor dominated the half with edges in shots (7-0), shots on goal (5-0) and corner kicks (5-1). However, it led to the lone goal. The story was different in the second half as BU piled on three goals in the final 10 minutes.
In the 80th minute, Ashley York beat the keeper to her right on a 30-yard boot. Justine Hovden followed in the 86th minute with a penalty kick goal. Then, York struck again in the 87th minute as Daigle picked up another assist that helped York score in the box past the keeper's left side.

QUOTE OF THE GAME
"The girls did a good job of keeping the gas on. They hit on all cylinders and finished well. We tried to put last weekend out of our minds. We trained well during the week and got the result we wanted tonight. It's always good to win and get momentum but it doesn't guarantee a second win in the weekend. We now have to get ready for Oral Roberts and put an entire weekend together." - Co-Head Coach Paul Jobson
