WACO, Texas - With six matches remaining the Baylor volleyball team has work to do to get back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011. The Bears (13-12, 3-7) play host to No. 25 Oklahoma at 7 p.m. at the Ferrell Center Saturday.

Baylor's RPI is No. 51 in the country, which bodes well for its hopes of the NCAA tournament if the Bears can have a good showing in the final three weeks of the season. Baylor takes on the Sooners as the first of four-straight home matches before playing host to TCU Nov. 12, No. 22 Kansas State Nov. 15, and No. 5 Texas Nov. 19. Then, the Bears close the season with two matches on the road at West Virginia Nov. 22 and Iowa State Nov. 29.

Baylor's last appearance in the national tournament in 2011 came after an 18-15 overall record and a 5-11 mark in the Big 12.

The Sooners (16-7, 7-3) are tied with KSU for second place in the nine-team league while Baylor's 3-7 mark has the Bears tied for seventh. Oklahoma defeated Baylor in Norman, Oct. 18 in four sets with Kimmy Gardiner's 17 kills leading the Sooners. Baylor's Andie Malloy had 19 kills in the loss in the teams' first meeting.

Since that meeting, OU is 2-2 including a surprising 3-0 sweep at No. 2 Texas Oct. 25, however, the Sooners lost their last match at TCU in five sets Wednesday. Baylor is also 2-2 since its last meeting with the Sooners with wins over Iowa State and Texas Tech and losses to West Virginia and Kansas.

Baylor will be giving out BU Athletic patches to any boy, girl or cub scouts in attendance at Saturday's match. Fans can watch and listen to Baylor's Internet broadcast of the match on BaylorBears.com/AllAccess and can follow the team all season long on the Twitter handle @BaylorVball.
