WACO, Texas - Laura Jones led the Bears' attack with 16 kills, while Alyssa Dibbern totaled 13 as Baylor came from behind to defeat Nevada 3-1 (20-25, 28-26, 25-11, 25-10) on Saturday afternoon. With the win, Barnes earned career win No. 300.

BU came out a little shaky in game one, hitting -.083 and found itself down 14-20 in the second set. But the Bears came roaring back to tie on set-point, 24-24, ultimately outscoring the Wolfpack 14-6 to end the second. Dibbern and Jones combined for 13 of the team's 18 kills in the swing set.

Baylor took control in the third behind a .321 hitting mark and solid defense that forced Nevada into a -.100 percentage. The Bears took control on an 8-0 run at the hands of Mackenzie Mayo's serve, giving BU a 15-9 advantage.

Baylor jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the fourth set on the serve of Thea Munch-Soegaard and never looked back. The passing attack and precise sets from Kate Harris led the Green and Gold to swing .538 to go with zero attacking errors en route to a 25-11 win in the final set.

Harris recorded 38 assists on the day, while four Bears totaled at least 10 digs, led by Hope Ogden's18.

Ogden also led Baylor with two service aces in the win.

WACO, Texas - Alyssa Dibbern's career high 19 kills helped Baylor to cap off the night with a 3-1 (25-21, 24-26, 25-18, 25-16) win over Tulane.

Kate Harris registered a double-double, collecting 55 assists to go with 11 digs. Three other BU players recorded 10-plus digs, led by freshman Mackenzie Mayo's 18. Adri Nora earned the start and stepped up to deliver 13 kills and a .385 hitting percentage.

After dropping the opening point, Baylor never trailed again in the first set, as Jones picked up five of her 11 kills in the first.

The Bears trailed much of the second set before a 9-2 run gave them an 18-15 lead that would stretch to four (21-17) before the Green Wave tied it at 24 and took the sets final two points.

After the break, Baylor came out and trailed only once the rest of the night. A third set 25-18 win was led by Dibbern's seven kills and .500 hitting percentage as BU swung .412 as a team.

Baylor would trail just once in the fourth game (3-2), as Dibbern continued to take over with seven more kills in the final set, giving BU the 25-16 win

The Bears will be on the road for the next three matches, competing in the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic beginning with No. 17 California on Fri., Aug. 31 at 9 pm CT.
