WACO, Texas - Marko Krickovic has signed a National Letter of Intent to play tennis at Baylor, head coach Matt Knoll announced Wednesday.

Krickovic, a left-hander from Ismaning, Germany, has ranked as high as No. 77 in the German men's rankings and No. 2 in the German junior rankings.

"This is a fabulous addition to our program. Since day one we've strived to find prospects with a passion for the game, a strong academic framework and values that support team spirit. Marko is outstanding in all areas. He's won multiple National Junior Championships and his best tennis is yet to come. He'll look great in the green and gold," said Knoll.

The son of Nebojsa Komarica-Krickovic and Dr. Andrea Freitag-Krickovic, Marko has extensive success competing as a junior. He reached the finals of his country's 2010 Junior National Championships, won a national championship in Under 16 doubles, was a member of the German Junior Davis Cup Team, reached the Australian Open Juniors Doubles Quarterfinals and won two International Tennis Federation junior singles tournaments and five doubles tournaments. In addition, he was a runner-up in the 2010 German Men's Team Championships.

Krickovic joins Lars Behlen and Mate Zsiga who signed National Letters of Intent in.
