WACO, Texas- Baylor men's tennis was knocked out of singles play in the 2008 Wilson/ITA South Central Region Championships Monday at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas.

Singles action began at 8 a.m. this morning with both of the Bears' matches going into three sets. Sam Garfoth-Bles of Rice defeated Jurica Grubisic 6-4, 6-7, 1-0 (10-6) in the consolation semifinals. Raony Carvalho of Texas Tech downed Jordan Rux 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 in the quarterfinals, both players are seeded nine. These two losses conclude play in the ITA Regional Championships for Baylor.
