Baylor will play its women's soccer regular season finale on the road on Friday as the Bears travel to College Station, Texas, for a 7:30 p.m. showdown against No. 2 Texas A&M.

Baylor (7-9-2) has a 4-8-1 all-time record against the Aggies and is entering the game on a two-game skid. Last season the Bears faced Texas A&M twice, once in the regular season and once in the Big 12 tournament; both matches resulted in Baylor losses, 0-1 and 0-3, respectively.

Baylor earned its first victory against the Aggies on Oct. 12, 1997, at home, sparking a four-game winning streak that ran through 2000. Since then, the Bears are on a seven-game winless streak which includes a five-game losing streak. All-time, Baylor is 1-4 in College Station.

The Bears are 1-7-1 in the Big 12 this season with their only conference win coming against Nebraska on Oct. 19. So far, this season has been a tale of two halves for the Bears, as Baylor posted a 6-2-1 non-conference record before stumbling in league play.

Senior Ashley Noah is currently 7-6-2 with a 1.66 goals-against average. This season Noah has stopped 95 shots and allowed just 25 goals. Her 25 goals allowed is currently the fewest goal the four-year goalkeeper has allowed in a single season. Currently, her 25 goals allowed ranks as the fourth fewest goals allowed in a single season in Baylor history.

The Big 12 and Baylor all-time career saves leader (430 saves) has once against placed herself on several single-season top-10 lists along with adding to her already outstanding career resume at Baylor.

This season the Bears are being led by senior Megan Sherrell offensively. The Mesquite, Texas, native has recorded nine goals and seven assists for 25 points. Sherrell's 25 points are the most for a Baylor soccer player since Courtney Saunders tallied 44 points during the 1999 season.

Baylor's seven wins this season matches a single-season high during the George Van Linder era. Van Linder earned seven wins in each of his first two seasons at the helm of the program (2003 & 2004).

Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. from the Aggie Soccer Complex in College Station, Texas.
