Matt Brown and Attila Bucko were eliminated from doubles competition in the A Flight doubles action Saturday at the 10th Annual Met/Rice Indoor Invitational at the Downtown Club at the Met in Houston.

Baylor's duo of Mueller and Zgaga advanced through the quarterfinal of consolation doubles defeating Clemson's Ryan Young and Ike Belt 8-5 while Galic and Poerschke posted a doubles win defeating Andy Narido and Kudzai Chiridza (PVAM) 8-0. The Baylor duos faced each other in the semifinals with Galic and Poerschke defeating Mueller and Zgaga 8-6.

In Flight A consolation singles action Zgaga advanced through the quarterfinal round of consolation singles defeating Texas A&M's Jerry Makowski 4-6, 6-3, 10-1 while Brown posted a win for the Bears after defeating Clemson's Jarmaine Jenkins 7-6, 3-6, 10-6. Brown then faced Zgaga falling in a two-set match 7-5, 6-1.

In Flight B consolation singles action, Galic posted victories over Carlos Alvarez (Clemson), 6-4, 6-4 and Robin Fernandes (UTSA), 6-4, 6-3.

In addition, Zgaga, Galic and Baylor's duo of Galic and Poerschke all will see consolation championship action on Sunday after consolation victories on Saturday.
