WACO, Texas - The Baylor men's tennis team found themselves ranked at No. 8 in the latest Fila collegiate tennis rankings released yesterday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. This is one spot down from their preseason ranking of No. 7.

Florida, who defeated the Bears on Sunday in a close 4-3 match, earned the No. 1 ranking this week jumping up one spot from their previous rank at No. 2. Florida replaced Virginia in the top spot who fell to No. 7 this week after falling to previously No. 9 Pepperdine and No. 4 Illinios. The Bears will take on Virginia Friday, Feb. 4 in Charlottesville.
