Tennis' Poerschke Loses in USTA Tourney

MANSFIELD, Texas - Junior Lars Poerschke saw his march in the 32-player main draw of the United States Tennis Association's (USTA) Mansfield Futures Tournament come to an end on Thursday.

Poerschke suffered a three-set loss to the tournament's No. 6 seed, Tim Smyczek (USA). Smycek posted a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 second round win over Poerschke at the Walnut Creek Country Club in Mansfield, Texas.
