Baylor travels to Knoxville, Tenn., for their first tournament of the year as they face No. 16 Tennessee, College of Charleston and Central Michigan in the Comcast Lady Vol Classic Friday and Saturday at the Stokely Athletics Center.

The Bears has won five matches in a row to start the season for the first time since 2001 and will face their first ranked opponent of the year, opening the tournament with the host Lady Vols Friday night. Tennessee, the defending Southeastern Conference champion, and College of Charleston, the defending Southern Conference champion, each made the NCAA Tournament in 2004.

Baylor returns to action and opens Big 12 Conference play on the road against Texas Tech Sept. 14 in Lubbock, Texas, and will play in the Fiesta Bowl Sept. 16-17 in Flagstaff, Ariz.
