Men's Tennis Travels to No. 47 TCU

WACO, Texas - After a six-match home stand, the top-ranked Baylor men's tennis team heads to Fort Worth Wednesday as the Bears take on No. 47 TCU for the second time this season. The Bears defeated the Horned Frogs on March 29, 7-0 in Waco.

The Bears enter Wednesday's match with a 19-0 record. Baylor has held the top spot in all-11 ITA rankings this season, including Tuesday's poll. Only one of Baylor's opponents this season has not been ranked at the time of their respective match against the Bears.

The Horned Frogs enter the match at 5-11, having lost 10 straight. TCU holds a 32-9 all-time record against the Bears since the 1974 season. However, Baylor has won five straight, including eight of the past 10.

Baylor is 8-0 this season on the road. Its last road match was at SMU, March 9, when the Bears defeated the Mustangs 5-2. Three of Baylor's six remaining games, including tomorrow, are on the road. The Bears return home for two matches next week, before heading back on the road to Austin and Lubbock April 13 and 16, respectively.

The men's tennis team concludes regular-season play April 19 as the Bears host Texas A&M. It is the last match for the Bears before heading on to the Big 12 Tournament in Austin.
