WACO, Texas - Top-ranked Baylor men's tennis returns to action at home Friday against No. 16 Pepperdine, after winning the USTA/ITA National Team Indoor Championship last weekend in Chicago.
The Waves enter Friday's contest with a 6-1 record. After starting the season outside of the top 25, Pepperdine has leaped into the No. 16 spot and currently hold a five-game winning streak. The Waves' only loss came at USC in a 4-3 defeat. Baylor defeated the Trojans February 3, 5-2 in Waco.
Baylor enters the match with a dominating 32-game winning streak. Baylor grabbed four individual spots and three doubles rankings in Tuesday's ITA standings; No. 44 Benjamin Becker, No. 9 Benedikt Dorsch, No. 19 Lars Poerschke and No. 93 Matija Zgaga.
