Fans are encouraged to come see Baylor take on Sam Houston State in their final non-conference game Thursday, Dec. 29, at 7 p.m. in the Ferrell Center. Kids will have an opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere as the Dell's Greater Waco Consumer Sales Center presents NCAA Basketball's eighth annual Take A Kid to the Game night celebration. Youth, ages 14 and younger, will receive a free ticket with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket, to watch the 9-0 Lady Bears take on the 5-4 Bearkats.

In addition, the first 500 kids through the doors will receive a free Child Identification Kit in conjunction with National Child Identification Program.

Baylor is hosting one of more than 700 games that will be played across the nation this season as part of the Take A Kid to the Game program. The program is a grass roots initiative that attracts the nation's youth and encourages adults to take kids to area college basketball games.

"Dell is thrilled to partner with Baylor Athletics and the Lady Bears on this exciting event. Dell has played an active role in the Waco community for several years and is pleased to sponsor a program promoting safety for our local youth", says Chris Blaine, Dell McGregor Site Lead. "Events like these, which demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the lives of children in the greater Waco area, make the local Dell team proud to be a part of such an outstanding community."

Dell Computer, Fortune's "America's Most Admired Companies 2005", expanded their operations in 2005 to McLennan County by opening a customer contact center in McGregor. This center occupies a 52,000-square-foot facility and with over 200 employee. Contributing to Dell's other sales operations in Austin, Nashville, Oklahoma City, and Roseburg, Oregon, this facility provides sales support to new and existing customers in the U.S.

Tickets can be purchased at the Ferrell Center ticket office prior to Thursday's game or online at www.baylorbears.com. The Ferrell Center box office will be open beginning at 2 p.m. on game day.
